Pinnacle Diamond Ranch

Meet the Full-Time Staff

TracieCal1Miss Tracey
Tracey is working on becoming a Le
vel II certified English & Western horsemanship instructor through CCHI (Christian Camping Horsemanship International) which is a Christian organization that was started by the same man who started CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) when the management of CHA decided not to continue to have Christ be the center of the organization. CHA founder “Uncle Bill” Wiley decided to allow CHA to continue on in its own path and to start another horsemanship instruction organization that would ALWAYS keep Christ at the center where He belongs!
Tracey grew up here at Camp Pinnacle with her family on full-time staff for many years. She has roots at Camp that go really deep and roots with God that are even deeper! Her love for kids and horses make her an excellent teacher and role model for Pinnacle HorseCampers

Our RanchHands are top notch!

Our RanchHands work really hard. They are responsible for a number of daily and twice-daily jobs such as:Sadie7_2009hat

    feeding & watering
    bringing out horses
    bringing tack to the ring
    grooming
    helping HorseCampers with jobs like
      grooming & tacking
    leading horses in the ring
cleaning up the field and run-in sheds
holding horses for games and lessons
    helping with shows

RanchHands attend all the Camp activities with the campers and the rest of the staff and volunteers when they are on the mountain. RanchHands are not counselors, but they do have the opportunity to speak into the HorseCampers’ lives, so they are as carefully screened and security-checked as our counselors are.KatieSadiewarpaint

Being a RanchHand is a blast - they play all the Camp games like Capture the Flag, Pilgrim’s Progress, Mud Meanies, Mission Impossible and Persecution... sometimes they team up with the HorseCampers, other times they’re the “bad guys”!

If you are of camper age you must be a camper for a week here at Camp Pinnacle in order to be hired as a RanchHand. The reason for this rule is simple: we don’t want the work of being a RanchHand to take the place of the fun God designed for the campers here on His Mountain.

If you are interested in being a RanchHand at Camp Pinnacle’s Pinnacle Diamond Ranch, please feel free to contact me for an application - we would love to hear from you, and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about the RanchHand program.
