Introducing: The Gentlemen of Pinnacle Diamond Ranch
The geldings who live here at the ranch are wonderful. Like the mares, they come in all shapes and sizes from Welsh pony, M’Abu to 16.2-hand Thoroughbred Jazz.
We have 7 geldings here:
Roamin’ is an older chestnut who is a lot of horse on the trail and in the ring, where he has gallons of personality. He’s a wonderful western adventurer who listens really well and can always make us laugh at his antics in the field.
Toby is a stunning 1996 bay with a black mane and tail who has the energy and attitude of a toddler. His wonderful gaits and fun-loving nature have endeared him to us in record time. Toby is a great horse in the ring, but he’s for our more advanced riders on the trail... during games like Persecution & Missions Impossible with Miss Tracy he can spend more time up in the air than on the ground!
Jazz is the 2003 son of the famous racehorse Gone West and the million-dollar mare Confidently. Jazz was a gift straight from God to Horsemanship Teacher Miss Ellen. Jazz is a sweet guy who just might earn himself a spot taking care of our HorseCampers some time - he’s already great at giving pony rides to the little ones and hanging out with the intermediate and advanced riders!
M’Abu is a really cool Welsh Pony. He came to us with Sophie (check her out on the mares page) when his owner decided he needed to find them a new place to live. He’s a wonderful pony with great gaits, amazing manners and lots of personality. This is a lot of horse in a very small body and he’s changing my overall opinion of ponies! (Had I told you guys I really don’t like ponies?)
Mojo is a little piece of American History living right here at the Ranch! Our good friend Stephanie adopted this American Mustang from the BLM (Bureau of Land Management). He’s a 4-year-old (2004) palomino paint gelding from Northern California. DNA shows that Mojo is an ancestor of the horses of the Spanish Conquistadors! ...And yes, he is sticking his tongue out at you!
